  • How to Cook
  • 1. Wash fillets and dry with a cloth. Bruise black beans, bean paste, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic and cilantro then mix with sesame oil and soya sauce.
    2. Top fillet with ginger then cover with sauce and steam for 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked. Drizzle hot oil before serving.

    • Tara fish fillet 1 piece, 280g
    • Ginger 20g, finely sliced
    • Taiwanese black beans 11/2 tablespoons
    • Spicy soy bean paste 1 teaspoon
    • Cane sugar 1/2 teaspoon
    • Light soy sauce 1 teaspoon
    • Sesame oil 1 tablespoon
    • Sea salt to taste
    • White pepper to taste
    • Garlic 2 cloves, finely diced
    • Cilantro 2 sprigs
